Exploration and Analysis on Optimal Allocation of Water Resources in Jitai Basin of Jiangxi Province

The Jitai Basin faced with prominent issues such as the severe agricultural droughts, the incomplete water resources allocation system, and the imperfect irrigation system layout. It analyzes the current situation of water resources and their development and utilization in the region. It proposes suggestions for achieving optimal allocation of water resources to construct a new irrigation area with basic coverage of the whole area, sound functions, interconnectivity, mutual relief, free regulation and strong guarantee. It also advocates for the advancement of informatization in irrigation areas and the strengthening of irrigation area management.
