The coming of the digital library has changed the features of storage, transmission, retrieval and joint service of the traditional library. However, as it has such technological problems difficult to solve as property, safety and so on, the digital library can’t take place of the traditional one completely. Therefore the compound library having the complex advantage is bound to become the main trend in the 21st century.
