On Consulting Education in Ideological and Political Work of Universities and Co lleges

The way of inculcating education adopted by universities and colle ge sover a long time in their ideological word has obvious drawbacks. We should use a new educational method of ideological and political work, namely consulting education in accordance with present college students’ ideological characteris tics. Consulting education makes the students and teachers in the same position, the teachers act as experts, and they offer consulting service for the students. This educational method embodies the spirit of equality and service. The stude nts ask for consulting service on their own initiative, which reflects their spi ritual demands and the tendency of their strong ideological individualities and independences. So it carries the ideological and political education from an obj ective general level to every student microcosmic individual psychological level.
