    • Based on many experiments, this paper studies the interference of alkyl sodium sulfonate,alkylbenzene sodium sulfonate, phenol, ect. with the determination of NO3-—N in water by UV spectrophotometric method. It discusses the determination of wavelength coverage and advances a formula for correcting the absorbance in clean water.
