Design on a "Three-level Responsive" Intervention Mode for Social Communication Deficits in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract: In response to the intervention demands associated with the five prevalent domains of social communication deficits in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as the limitations inherent in traditional intervention approaches—including mechanistic operations, delayed feedback, and single sensory pathways, a "Three-level Responsive" intervention mode is constructed. It uses the art therapy as a data collection carrier, integrates generative artificial intelligence and synesthesia theory for dynamic adaptation, and adopts digital software interaction as an expressive interface, thereby forming a progressive three-level intervention framework comprising the foundational level, adaptive level, and expressive level. Theoretical analysis demonstrates that it achieves systematic and hierarchical coverage of the five social communication deficits, establishing a closed-loop intervention system that spans from bottom-level sensory arousal to surface-level behavioral training. It thus provides theoretical support for breaking through the current bottlenecks in the intervention of social communication deficits in ASD.
