Abstract:
The evaluation of talent cultivation quality in applied undergraduate universities is a critical lever for deepening industry-education integration and responding to the transformations of the digital-intelligent era. Under the dual background of the popularization of higher education and the digital transformation of education, the traditional academy-oriented evaluation paradigms fail to effectively address the new requirements of industrial chains for the competency structure of high-quality applied talents. Based on the theory of complex adaptive systems, it systematically examines the current evaluation paradigm, identifying such predicaments as subject adaptability obstacle, rigid rules, delayed information flow, and distorted internal models in terms of subjects, rules, information, and boundaries. To break through these limitations, a dual-driven reconstruction path—fueled by industry-education integration and digital-intelligent empowerment—should be established. Industry-education integration drives the shift of evaluation subjects from a single entity to multi-stakeholder collaboration, and of evaluation criteria from discipline logic to occupation orientation and competency-based principles. Digital-intelligent empowerment promotes the transition of evaluation data from discrete samples to full-process holographic data, and of evaluation methods from experiential judgment to intelligent precision. On this basis, it is necessary to consolidate the digital infrastructure, improve data governance, innovate evaluation scenarios, and refine safeguard mechanisms, with a view to constructing a dynamic, open, and self-adaptive new paradigm for talent cultivation quality evaluation in applied undergraduate universities.
