Abstract:
In the era of media convergence, two critical issues have emerged as pivotal topics: how to seize the opportunities brought by the times, pinpoint the core focus of work, and construct a new media matrix with strong influence, service capacity, and cohesion; and how to leverage media convergence technologies to invigorate ideological and political education. Under the background of media convergence, colleges and universities face shifts in the dominant role of ideological and political education, diversification of information dissemination channels, and a series of challenges-including the urgent need to guide students' ideological development, insufficient content supply, inadequate integration of media platforms, and unsound operational mechanisms. To enhance the effectiveness of media convergence education, colleges and universities should focus on four key dimensions: anchoring the correct orientation, upholding high-quality content standards, pursuing continuous innovation, and improving institutional mechanisms.
