Abstract: By discussing the connection of semi_rigid roadbase strength and degree of compaction and on the basis of 《Quality Inspection and Evaluation Standards for Highway Engeering》（JTJ071₉8）,the article puts forward a viewpoint that degree of compaction and strength should been taken into consideration at the same time during semi_rigid roadbase quality assessement and an amendment proposal for quality assessement of strength and degree of compaction.
